Research workshop

First workshop held at UQAM, Montreal, 2024

The first NAUMN research workshop took place from June 1 to 2, 2024, at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and was organized by the Department of Urban Studies and Tourism.. The workshop brought together researchers from Canada (Racine, F; Gauthier, P.; Dufaux, F. and Hess, P.), the United States (Ryan, B.D. and Scheer, B.), and Mexico (Herrera, S.H.).

Workshop organized as part of the second meeting, Boston, 2025

From May 31 to June 1, 2025, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston hosted the second research workshop. Organized by Professor Ryan and his team, this meeting combined a study day with a field visit. It brought together researchers from Canada (F. Racine), the United States (B. D. Ryan, B. Scheer, D. Johnson Almy III, K. Dunham, I. Golovitskaya, C. Kickert, S. P. Nogalski, A. Sevtsuk and D. Yang), and Mexico (S. H. Herrera, A. H. Hidalgo Rasmussen and D. E. Sánchez).
